What is the standard for the cooling fan landing test?
The standard of the cooling fan for the floor test, according to the specifications of the cooling fan of different sizes, the height of the floor is 30-50CM. The standard of the floor test is: three boards with a thickness of 10CM. If the fan is not damaged, it is OK.
Some products have more stringent requirements for the floor test. For example, if the cooling fan is installed in the product and the floor is 100CM, the cooling fan cannot be damaged. Especially, some products are heavy and have a faster landing speed. Some products are not square and are tapered. After the landing, the pointed end falls to the ground, and all the stress points are collected at one point, and the cooling fan is more likely to be destroyed.
For this kind of products with high floor requirements, the cooling fan cannot use the commonly used PBT materials. It is recommended to use better materials, such as PC materials or PPS materials, which have better toughness, and the floor test is more guaranteed.
